Emma Georgiadis is returning to SAFM breakfast show after giving birth to her first child. Emma G and Bernie Vince return in 2026 with their signature easygoing banter.
After launching the SAFM breakfast show in 2025, they’re bringing their chemistry to mornings once again but this time, there’s an exciting new addition – Bel Sloane joins the team full time. Sloane filled in for Emma’s maternity leave.
“I’ve missed my mate G, and I know listeners have too, so I’m excited to have her back in 2026. It’s been awesome having Bel step in while Emma was on leave, she’s done an amazing job, and I’m stoked she’s staying on. Together, we’re going to create something special next year,” Bernie Vince said. “With two fantastic women, mums and friends by my side, I can’t wait to see what we’ll offer our listeners in 2026. I can’t wait to get started.”
Georgiadis said: “After some precious time with my newborn, I’m excited to get back into it with the SAFM family. I’ve missed our listeners and can’t wait to switch the 4am wake ups from feeds to fun! I’m looking forward to bringing fresh energy and ideas with Bernie and Bel to create something exciting for Adelaide.”
Sloane added: “I never imagined I’d get used to 4am alarms, but here we are! I am so thrilled that Bern, Emma and the team have invited me to stay on and make this permanent. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed these past few months, learning not only about radio but also getting to know this amazing city and its people better. But what’s been even more special is showing my kids that there’s more to me than just being their mum. They’re proud to see me step up and take on new challenges. I’m looking forward to having Emma back, alongside Bernie – there’s so much energy and banter to look forward to, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll offer listeners together.”
With nearly 20 years in the entertainment and media industry, Georgiadis has established herself in South Australian radio. A former teacher-turned-media personality, she’s built an impressive radio career that includes anchoring Triple M’s The Rush Hour, co-hosting The Pulse on the Hit Network and now co-hosting SAFM’s breakfast show.
Millie Starling, SAFM content director, said: “We’re incredibly excited about what 2026 holds for SAFM’s Breakfast show. With Emma’s return, Bel joining the team full-time, and Bernie continuing to bring his unique humour and charm, we’ve got a trio that will not only make a real impact on breakfast in Adelaide.
“This show is unlike anything else in market as the only breakfast show with two female presenters. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build on the success we’ve had so far, with the breakfast show growing from a 6.9 per cent share to 9.3 per cent* across 2025 and delivering in the audience that matters, 25-54. We can’t wait to bring more laughter, heart, and genuine moments to our audience in 2026.”
