Aussie brands looking to reach new audiences in 2026 are invited to Take it to TikTok, with the platform announcing a free event and new online resources designed to drive business growth.
Take it to TikTok is a free interactive and educational event for small and medium businesses, offering hands-on training, practical workshops and creative best practice designed to turn attention into action.
TikTok is a discovery platform where more than 350,000 Australian businesses build their brands, grow their audiences and connect with a global community of over a billion people.
According to the Oxford Economics Report, around 3.5 million Australians visited a shop or restaurant recommended to them on TikTok, while 3.2 million Australians reported purchasing a product or service they discovered on the platform.
Australian small and medium businesses are increasingly tapping TikTok as a growth channel, with the number of active SMB advertisers growing 45 per cent year-on-year (2024 vs 2025).
“TikTok has redefined how people discover and engage with businesses,” said Angus Cheung, head of SMB, TikTok AUNZ. “By connecting brands with audiences through interests and culture, TikTok enables both new and established brands to grow, regardless of size or marketing budget.”
In 2026, founders and marketers can download new tailored playbooks for key industries including Fashion and Beauty, Home and Living, Professional Services, E-Commerce, and Media and Services.
A new creative starter pack is also available, serving as a one-stop-shop for brands to understand top-performing creative, set up their first campaign, and create with confidence.
These resources sit alongside a new limited video podcast series, Take it to TikTok, featuring brands like @iloveyochi, @eva.home, @leolin_official, @hard_fizz, and @oneplaygroundaus.
The series pairs businesses already driving growth on TikTok with peers beginning their journey, sharing practical advice and answering common questions for brands getting started.
