Match & Wood has appointed Joe Stevens as group digital director, effective 20 April. Stevens joins from Atomic 212, where he served as client lead on Bupa, one of Australia’s largest media accounts.
Stevens brings with him deep expertise in performance media, data-driven measurement and above-the-line integration, and has built a reputation for his ability to unpack the complexity of digital media and translate it into clear, actionable outcomes for clients and internal teams alike.
In his new role, Stevens will work closely with Match & Wood’s Melbourne and Perth teams and national client portfolio, with a focus on elevating the agency’s performance offering, driving measurement standardisation, and deepening integration of Match & Wood’s proprietary technology platform, Campfire.
“Match & Wood’s commitment to craft, people and genuine innovation made this such an exciting and undeniable opportunity,” said Stevens. “I’m passionate about bridging the gap between performance complexity and real business impact making the black box of digital not just transparent, but genuinely useful for clients. I’m excited to bring that thinking to a broader range of brands, and to get my hands on Campfire.”
Lyndelle O’Keefe, CEO Match & Wood said: “Joe is exactly the kind of operator we were looking for, someone who lives in the detail of performance but can bring an entire business on the journey. His track record across large, complex accounts speaks for itself, and his curiosity and people-first approach is a perfect fit for how we work at Match & Wood. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”
