Sportsbet has followed up its homemade NRL ad with another cheeky effort, this time about the AFL.
Probably one for sports fans south of the border, ‘AFL Uber’ plays on the different stereotypes and cliches of each club.
The ad sees all 18 AFL clubs hitching a ride, some clubs destined for glory, while for others, they couldn’t even reach the end of the street.
The video went live on Sportsbet’s social media channels on Thursday, while a 30-second version was aired on channel 7’s Front Bar and at half-time during the Richmond vs Carlton match.
The video was created and produced internally by the Sportsbet creative team.
“The 2020 AFL season is going to be one hell of a ride! Is your club headed for glory or will they be more of a passenger this year?” said Sportsbet’s communications manager Rich Hummerston.
