Creator agency Amplify, in partnership with entertainment specialists More Talent, has launched Amplify Live – a one-night-only live variety show created to help digital-first talent take their next step into real-world performance.
Held on 13 March 2026 at Sydney’s Factory Theatre, Amplify Live brings together a cast of comedy, lifestyle and food creators to perform original segments—from stand-up and sketch to music and live cooking
More than a show, More Talent is a platform designed to give creators experience, visibility and real-world stagecraft, as part of Amplify’s broader mission to develop talent into cross-platform entertainers, IP owners and long-term cultural voices.
“We came up with the concept of Amplify Live for a couple of reasons. Some of our creators have a genuine passion for live performance, and we wanted to give them the space and support to explore that,” said Tom Maynard, co-founder of Amplify.
“At the same time, creators today are expected to stretch across platforms – from digital to broadcast to live – but they’re rarely given the tools or time to grow into that. Amplify Live is about changing that. It’s a live show, yes – but it’s also a chance to open up new creative avenues.”
The event is hosted by online personality and national touring comedian Alright Hey, and closes with a ticketed afterparty featuring creator and Mad TV sketch performer Peyton Cole on the decks.
The creator lineup: Ella Watkins – Screen Australia-backed writer and actor, debuting a song from her upcoming album; Ali Chebbani (Chebbo’s Burgers) – Sydney chef and food creator, performing an original live segment; Tom Smallwood – Food creator and Tom’s Diner author, blending humour and hospitality; Lachy McIntyre – Fast-growing comedy creator and podcast host, debuting live material; Molly Clancy – Comedy and lifestyle creator with sharp, modern commentary; Georgia Productions – One of Australia’s leading digital creators with more than two million YouTube subscribers, and co-host of the Gee Thanks podcast; and Molly McCrann (Moldoga) – Performance comedy creator known for offbeat sketches and fearless humour.
“We’ve seen huge names come through the live circuit and you can tell when someone has that spark. What’s exciting now is that creators have built huge audiences online and shows like Amplify Live give them a proper stage to grow into performers,” added Andrew Taylor, founder of More Talent.
