It’s every bachelor carrot’s worst fear. You’re soon to be married to fiancée, Katie, but get tied to the North Pole in a Bucks Party that has gone pear shaped.
That is the predicament that Aldi’s Kevin the Carrot has found himself in this year’s Christmas spot.
The animated film is filled with hilarious bucks party and hen do celebration, and even the obligatory Aussie best man, Kelvin the Carrot.
The film includes some classic bucks do tropes, such as losing the groom, and pulling off a Christmas miracle to find Kevin the Carrot and return him to the altar on time.
Kyrsten Halley, marketing director at Aldi UK, said: “We’re excited to share the next episode of our Christmas advert, which is sure to bring a smile to faces, as Kevin and Katie the Carrot go on their iconic stag and hen parties. It’s filled with hilarious moments, as well as Christmas spirit and a sprinkle of mischief!”
The campaign is supported by additional social, PR, OOH, and media activations.
Kevin the Carrot Christmas ads have consistently been among the top rating spots in the UK, according to System1, often scoring higher than John Lewis ads.
Locally, this year’s Aldi Christmas ad invites Aussies to surrender to temptation.
