The 2Day FM Swisse Color Run A Sold Out Success

The Swisse Color Run teamed up with 2Day FM for the first time in 2014 and more than 20,000 people were in attendance at the event last week.

Also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, the event is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality.

The partnership saw 2Day FM activate a number of on-air promotional tactics encouraging fans to get involved, an interactive live site at Centennial Park Event Village on the day and saw SCA leverage its unrivalled social media and digital assets in support of the event.

2Day FM Breakfast host, Jules Lund, set the race in motion by letting off the start chute and then ran the race with his daughter Billy and a team of 2Day FM representatives, before getting up on stage at the finish festival for a color throw with the crowd.

2Day FM content director Donna Puechmarin said: “A sunny day, a sold out event and 20,000 of our target audience having a great time – The Swisse Color Run has proved to be an ideal brand partnership for 2Day FM, achieving great results socially, digitally, on air and on ground.”

Luke Hannan, The Color Run Australia national manager and race director said: “We’re very pleased to have SCA join our Color Run family and look forward to developing an even stronger relationship with the national and local teams in the lead up to our upcoming events!”
