ROI media agency Zenith has lost a big client in 20th Century Fox to its Publicis Media stablemate Blue 449.
A spokesperson for Publicis confirmed the move to B&T this morning.
Publicis said in a statement that the transition of the account will take place over the coming weeks, and described it as a “realignment” with the view to deliver “the best strategic fit for the future of 20th Century Fox”.
Matt James, CEO of Publicis’ Australian division, said the account transition to Blue 449 creates a fresh solution that will layer a new strategic perspective onto 20th Century Fox’s business.
“At the same time, we will maintain access to the long-term historical knowledge and legacy of Zenith’s 12-year relationship with the business,” he said.
John Preston, CEO of Blue 449 Australia, said the account realignment is a great testament to the versatility of Publicis.
“To say we are excited about working on 20th Century Fox is an understatement,” he said.
“We are privileged at the opportunity of partnering with them. We look forward to leveraging our expertise at Blue 449 to support growth and build the Fox business.”
Blue 449 are now looking to add another 38 staff members to help handle the 20th Century Fox account, an industry source has confirmed with B&T .
