Zara Cobb Appointed Compare Club CMO

Comparison service Compare Club has announced the appointment of Zara Cobb as its new chief marketing officer.

Cobb joins Compare Club with more than 20 years of experience building brands, scaling digital businesses and driving customer growth across fintech, e-commerce and loyalty. She was most recently chief marketing officer at Cashrewards, where she led brand transformation and member growth initiatives for Australia’s largest cashback platform.

Before that, Cobb spent six years at Lendi Group, playing a key role in the merger with Aussie Home Loans and driving growth across the combined business. She held several senior positions, including Chief Marketing Officer, Group CMO and Chief Growth Officer.

Earlier in her career, Cobb worked in senior strategy roles at Initiative, Mediacom, Match Media and Blue 449, where she was head of strategy and analytics before the agency merged with Spark Foundry. Across these roles, she has led teams of more than 60 people, managed marketing budgets of up to $30 million, and built a reputation for delivering performance marketing with brand purpose, saying “clicks without connection just don’t cut it.”

Emma Fawcett, CEO of Compare Club, said Cobb’s appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on innovation, customer growth and purpose-led leadership.

Her experience in driving customer growth and building high-performing teams makes her a tremendous addition to our leadership group.”

Cobb said she was drawn to Compare Club’s mission to help Australians save money and make smarter financial decisions.
