In the lead up to this years 30 Under 30 Awards night, we caught up with the 2025 Alumni to see what they are all up to.
Recently we talked to Crystal Davis, the Entrepreneur winner; Cindy Diep, the Creative winner; and Charlie Dejean, the Grand Prix winner.
All three of these path forgers agreed that being hailed amongst like minded people helped boost confidence. Confidence isn’t the only thing these legends share, it appears they also share initials. Does this say something about our 2026 CD initial entrants, we wonder?
Charlie Dejean: I’ve never lacked ambition. But I have lacked self-belief. Before all this, I’d kick into every creative review and fire off ideas in all directions, hoping one would land before I was asked to fix the door on the way out (thankfully, some did). My B&T submission was equally as unhinged. It was a shot in the dark. The real plan was just to observe, learn, and come back stronger in 2026.
Cindy Diep: Being recognised as part of B&T’s 30 Under 30 was an awesome catalyst for growth and change both personally and career-wise. It’s helped boost my confidence in my abilities, my place in this industry and the spaces I occupy.
Crystal Davis:: Whilst I am still not 100 per cent sure which direction my career will take me in, I am certain that my love for creativity, strategy, and business will lead me to start and grow more businesses in the future. For now, I plan to continue working in a creative capacity, hopefully overseas for a while!
