Vonnimedia Locks In Creative & Social Media Accounts For Schwarzkopf Professional & Shiseido Professional

Digital marketing marketing agency Vonnimedia has won the Schwarzkopf Professional and Shiseido Professional accounts.

The appointment builds on Vonnimedia’s experience managing projects and campaigns for Schwarzkopf Professional over several years, during which it developed a deep understanding of the brand and its audience. The Sydney-based agency’s remit will include social media and creative, including content creation, event content, media and performance for Schwarzkopf Professional, and also Shiseido Professional as it enters the Australian market.

In winning the account, the Schwarzkopf Professional team noted its successful long-term partnership with the agency, particularly Vonnimedia’s track record for exceeding expectations and providing best-in-class industry knowledge and creativity.

The companies, both major parts of the Henkel brand, are renowned for being at the forefront of the global hair industry. From developing the first liquid shampoo to becoming a globally recognised salon colour, Schwarzkopf Professional is one of the most internationally successful salon haircare brands, boasting more than 120 years of innovation and stockists in more than
150 countries.

Henkel acquired Shiseido Professional, a premium, salon-only brand of the Japanese cosmetics heavyweight, Shiseido, in 2023, firming its stronghold on the global haircare market. As part of
the deal, Henkel took over the Shiseido Professional business in the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand.

Shiseido Professional released its first products in Australia last year, launching its Sublimic range with a special event at Sydney’s Oborozuki restaurant, where Vonnimedia led on the event content.

“We’re all about increasing engagement and community building for Schwarzkopf Professional. In 2025, we increased engagement by more than 150 per cent, saw a 1000 per cent increase in comments, and increased collaborations by 130 per cent. We look forward to continuing to bring our bold ideas and winning formulas to Schwarzkopf and also to Shiseido Professional, as it establishes its presence in the Australian beauty market.”

The appointments are effective immediately.
