Following the final event yesterday, VMO has announced the winners of the Ultimate Media Champion (UMC), an Australian media industry competition designed to unite agency professionals through a shared commitment to health and wellness.

Over a six-week period, 250 media agency professionals across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane participated in a comprehensive training program designed to challenge and support both physical and mental well-being. The program included weekly sessions held at Fitness First and Goodlife Health Clubs—venues within VMO’s Active network— accompanied by six expert-led webinars on nutrition and mental health, facilitated by Gotcha4Life.

The journey culminated in a high-intensity final challenge circuit, expertly developed by Fitness Lifestyle Group.

“We’re proud to be partners of the Ultimate Media Champion for the second year in a row, to bring this incredible, high-impact event to life through the combination of the VMO Active network and our dedicated trainers,” said Andy Chamoun, executive general manager FLG Australia.

Six individuals have been awarded the prestigious title of Ultimate Media Champion based on their involvement in the training program as well as their efforts in the final event. Both winners and runners-up have shared in the $50,000 prize pool.

“This year’s Ultimate Media Champion has once again proven the positive impact that health and wellness can have on this industry,” said Paul Butler, managing director of VMO. “It’s been incredible to see so many agency professionals actively participating and supporting one another throughout their wellness journey, week after week. It has really shown the strength and unity of our media community.

“Thank you to all participants for your energy and dedication, and a huge congratulations to the 2025 Ultimate Media Champions.”
