It was a battle of the game shows overnight, with Nine The Floor, Tipping Point Australia and Seven’s The Chase Australia coming in top three most watched non-news programs.
The Floor is a competitive quiz-style game with contestants facing off on an LED grid floor. Each square represents a different category. Players must go head-to-head in duels, fighting to win territory and take over the board.
It blends general knowledge with strategy. As the game progresses, the board starts to shrink, increasing the stakes and the pressure. It boasted a Total TV National Reach of 1,837,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 901,000.
Tipping Point brought in a National Reach of 1,587,000 and an Average Audience of 837,000.
The Chase brough in a National Reach of 1,532,000 and an Average Audience of 777,000.
Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention was another popular pick over on Seven boasting a National Reach of 1,455,000 and an Average Audience of 693,000.
Glenn Robbins and Mick Mollory zeroed in on Aussie comedian, Sam Pang last night for a celebrity roast disguised as an “intervention”. It quickly escalated into a series jokes and even featured a cameo from a Kim Jong-un impersonator.
Over on Ten, MasterChef came in eleventh place, bringing in a National Reach of 1,091,000 and an Average Audience of 718,000.
