It was The Block that did the numbers last night with a total TV national reach of 2,467,000 and a national average audience of 1,415,000 as the Blockheads unveiled their backyard masterpieces.

Courtney and Grant took out the night, pocketing $30,000 in the process, with a Mediterranean-inspired garden that was equal parts beautiful and practical.

“I could totally leave this competition happy, regardless of what happens at auction! We got our 10!” Courtney said after receiving perfect scores from both Darren and Shaynna.

Over on Seven, Reuben De Melo took home the win on The Voice finale, but the program fell just short of a win for the night with a total TV national reach of 2,308,000 and a national average audience of 1,081,000.

Perth-based FIFO worker and father-of-three De Melo was announced the winner before stepping into a moving rendition of Coldplay’s Fix You alongside coach LeAnn Rimes.

“I never thought I’d get this far … this is crazy,” De Melo said of the win – complete with a $100k prize package.

“I’m so proud. You deserve every bit of this moment, and I’m so honoured that I could be on this journey with you. You are incredible,” Rimes told the winner. “I knew as soon as he opened his mouth, and I heard him sing. There was just so much feeling there. There was no way I was letting any of the other coaches get to him before I did”.
