Entertainment programs didn’t receive much attention overnight with not one of them pulling in more than 642,000 average viewers.
Nine’s Great Getaways was the most popular on Thursday night, pulling in a total TV national reach of 1,272,000 and a total TV national average audience of 539,000. In last nights episode the Getaways team headed off on a global voyage of discovery, uncovering the wonder of Greenland, the magic of the Mediterranean, the cool of the Caribbean plus the wildlife mecca of South Georgia.
As linear TV had a quite night, the same can’t be said for BVOD. More than 250,000 keen Love Island fans tuned in for the second last episode of the season. They were treated to a Love Island first when islander Dylan took $20,000 dollars to leave the experiment. This left his partner Kodi single, and ultimately meant she had to depart as well.
Kodi was less than impressed to be stood up for $20,000.
“I would never do what Dylan did standing up for that money. That’s not who I am and it never has been and it never will be,” she said.
Mondays finale will be interesting when all islanders—including the ones that have been eliminated—return to see the winning couple crowned, as well as hopping on the truth bike to answer questions on their experience.
Dylan will have to face up to the music.
Switching the channel to Seven, the broadcaster took a look back at the stories that shaped 2025. Titled The Seven: 2025 In Review, the program hauled in a reach of 1,071,000 and an average of 428,00.
ABC pipped 10 in the entertainment rankings with Grand Design. Its 924,000 reach and average of 528,000 eclipsed The Graham Norton Show.
