Tuesday TV Wrap: SAS And Home And Away Help Seven Steal A Win

Tuesday night saw an uncommon primary channel win for Seven off the back of SAS Australia and Home and Away.

According to OzTAM metro data, in primary channel share, Seven was the clear winner with 22.4 per cent. Nine came in second with 18.1 per cent. Meanwhile, ABC trailed behind on 12.2 per cent, while 10 did 8.2 per cent. SBS came last on 5.7 per cent.

Seven’s SAS was the number one entertainment show with 668,000 people tuning in, while Nine’s RBT was its best entertainment programme 440,000. 10’s best for the night was its 7pm news program on 438,000, while ABC Kid’s Bluey did and impressive 459,000.

Here’s how the rest of Tuesday ran:

Nine

News did 914,000, A Current Affair did 719,000, Hot Seat did 447,000, and Australian Crime Stories did 359,000.

Seven 

News did 969,000, Home and Away did 580,000, The Chase did 516,000, and Sunrise did 263,000.

ABC

Over at the ABC, news did 718,000, 7.30 did 609,000, Capturing Cricket: Steve Waugh in India did 383,000, and Outback Ringer did 364,000.
