Troye Sivan, The Kid Laroi, G Flip, Flume, Benjamin Law, and even Jimmy Barnes are among the creators to feature in Apple’s latest work.
The who’s who of Australian creative talent come together to form the new ‘Made in Australia. Behind the Mac’ campaign, which celebrates local talent and the work that is created on Apple devices.
It has come out of TBWA\Media Arts Lab, which is a bespoke agency for Apple.
“From Fortitude Valley to Adelaide, Yirrkala to Perth, creative people all over Australia are making it here, behind the Mac. And with the powerful Apple M1 chip, seamless integration between Apple devices, and macOS, the most advanced desktop operating system ever, Mac is unleashing new creative superpowers,” Apple says about the campaign.
Apple also recently shared a similar ‘Behind the Mac’ campaign celebrating all things Canada, which included a feature from proud Canadian Just Bieber.

The ‘Behind the Mac’ push comes as Apple looks to promote its new M1 chip.
For a long time, Apple’s computers were actually being powered by Intel chips.
This all changed last year, when Apple finally released the long-awaited M1 chip, which is built in-house by the tech giant.
The new chips have received rave reviews so far, with users reporting higher speeds and better battery life
Apple first introduced the M1 chip to its iMac and iPad Pro, but has recently started to include the new technology in MacBooks.
