Sydney-based creative design and strategic marketing agency, Tiny Hunter, has been awarded gold and silver in the New York-based Graphis Design Annual 2016 Awards.
The gold award was presented for Tiny Hunter’s work on the Argyle Pink Diamonds 2014 Tender. This highly sought after volume, housed in a beautifully designed handcrafted slipcase, was inspired by the rare Gouldian Finch. The Gouldian, as well as being beautiful, is a native of the Kimberley region of Western Australia, which is the birthplace of Argyle Pink Diamonds.
The silver award was presented for Tiny Hunter’s work on a premium collection of the finest dessert sauces and condiments for Beerenberg, an artisan producer based in Hahndorf, South Australia. To convey the artistry behind the Beerenberg Dessert Sauces, Tiny Hunter explored the world of fine art. This lead to the development of a range of patterns inspired by various styles of art: art deco, modernism and traditional Persian.
Emma Scott, creative director at Tiny Hunter said: “We are so lucky to have such a great team at Tiny Hunter. We recognise their efforts every day and it feels wonderful to know our work receives recognition from such a prestigious organisation.”
Established in 1944, Graphis is internationally renowned for promoting the work of exceptional talent within Graphic Design, Advertising, Photography and Art/Illustration. This year Graphis awarded Tiny Hunter two of their prestigious awards.
The designs will have a full-page feature in the Graphis Design Annual 2016 which showcases the best creative advertising work from around the globe.
