From global marketing leaders and cultural commentators to filmmakers, journalists and brand builders, the line-up reflects the forces shaping creativity, culture and business today.
Pippa Chambers, content director of Cairns Crocodiles, said the agenda reflects an industry full of energy and opportunity.
“This industry is fabulous and bursting with creative prowess,” she said.
“At a time when workforces are shifting and AI is rattling the moment, it’s more important than ever to celebrate our craft and remember what we’re capable of.
“This year’s programme brings together diverse voices, bold ideas and conversations designed to inspire, challenge and energise everyone attending.”
Just yesterday, the festival revealed that a trio of top Asia-Pacific IKEA marketers will take the stage to unpack how one of the world’s most recognisable brands balances global consistency with local cultural insight across very different markets.
Other major names joining the programme include actor and director Taika Waititi.
Former global Nike strategist at Wieden+Kennedy and co-founder of creative studio Alien Baby with Idris Elba, Paula Bloodworth, will also be coming.
Legendary adman Sir Martin Sorrell will be returning to the lineup.
Adam Smith, the acclaimed visual director behind The Chemical Brothers’ legendary live shows and music videos, will be coming to Cairns.
Young Australian of the Year, Nedd Brockmann will be soaking up the heat in Queensland, too, along with United Nations chief marketing officer David Ohana, Hakuhodo global ECD Morihiko Hasebe, The Imperfects’ Hugh Van Cuylenburg & Ryan Sheltonmore, and more.
Across the programme, sessions will explore topics including the new rules of brand building, growing in an attention recession, winning with Chinese audiences, defining marketing’s next era, artists’ rights in an AI age, why creativity needs different brains and much more!
“Attendees really need to plan ahead and block the time out properly,” Chambers added. “Fly up Monday afternoon and be here for the full three days. It’s not a whole week out of the office as some bemoan! It’s a few days and is absolutely worth it.
“The speakers are world-class, and the opportunity to learn, meet people and feel inspired right on your doorstep is incredibly valuable.
“Don’t be that person rushing around on your phone and realising you’ve only seen one session. Plan well, put yourself first for a few days and soak up everything the event has to offer.”
With the full agenda now live, attendees can now begin planning their schedules for the three-day festival.
