Mark Weinstein the global CMO and head of luxury brands of hotel chain Hilton has departed the business after 16 years.
Weinstein joined Hilton as a senior director in 2010, before climbing the ranks to CMO in 2020 and global CMO in 2025.
“How do you sum up sixteen years? You don’t. You just say thank you,” he wrote in a LinkedIn post.
“Over those years I’ve had experiences that far surpassed my wildest imagination. Places, projects, and roles so big and transformative I never even thought to dream of them. Team Hilton, thank you for teaching me more about hospitality, creativity, branding, marketing, loyalty, and humanity than I knew there was to learn.”
Under Weinstein’s leadership, Hilton launched its first global marketing platform ‘Hilton. For the Stay’ campaign.
“I once believed nothing was more fulfilling than doing great work. It turns out I was wrong. Enabling great people to do great work is far more rewarding. Thank you to my team, and our partners, agencies, and creators who partnered with us to make it happen,” Weinstein continued in his LinkedIn statement.
Hilton are still yet to announce who Weinstein’s replacement will be.
And as for Weinstein, he is set to announce his new role very soon.
“So, while I’m checking out of Hilton, I remain a fan for life. And fittingly for this Diamond Reserve Hilton Honors member, my first order of business is to check into my next Hilton hotel on Saturday as I head to a new city to start my next adventure.
“I’ll share more about my new role on Monday. But for now, thank you, xièxiè, arigatō, gracias, merci, todah, shukran, dhanyavaad, Hilton.
“It’s been the Stay of a lifetime,” he concluded.
