The One Centre Promotes Katie Molloy To MD

Brand agency, the One Centre, has appointed Katie Molloy (right in main photo) as managing director. Molloy was previously general manager at The One Centre where she has worked for nine years, overseeing all clients and projects, and serving as ‘right-hand person’ to founder and CEO, John Ford (left).

Molloy has a wealth of experience and expertise in advertising, branding, media and account management. Prior to joining The One Centre she was a Board Account Director at BWM for seven years and held senior positions at Ogilvy London, M&C Saatchi Sydney, WWAV Rapp Collins and BDS Beechwood.

Molloy said, “It goes without saying that the last few years have been challenging for everyone but I’m beyond proud of how The One Centre has navigated these unprecedented times. We have an exceptional team, outstanding clients and partners and it already looks like we’ll have another strong year in terms of performance. I am excited to step up into this role and continue to help steer The One Centre towards excellence.”

In her first move as managing director, Molloy has promoted Chloé Tribouillard from digital account Director to the newly created role of media team leader, key accounts director. The newly created role follows the growth of the agency’s integrated media offering and planned departure of its head of mrdia, Martin Bersagol who is returning to Europe with his family in mid-2022.

Tribouillard will lead The One Centre’s key media accounts, including furniture disruptor Lounge Lovers, rapidly internationalising luxury designer fashion brand and omni-channel retailer Cossette, D2C personalised vitamins brand Vitable and Club Med.

John Ford said, “Katie is an outstanding operator and has been a driving force in the agency since her arrival in 2013. This appointment is recognition of the exceptional work she continues to do for The One Centre and both our team and our clients.

“While we are sad to say goodbye to Martin, we are supportive of his decision to return to Europe to be closer to his family at this time and we wish him all the best. Chloe’s promotion to Media Team Leader is part of Martin’s legacy in developing great people, and we are excited to continue to grow our media offer with both specialist skills and talent in digital media and broader brand connections planning across all media.

“The One Centre has already experienced a strong start to 2022 and I believe these well-deserved promotions, along with our strong run of new business wins with some of Australia’s and the world’s most exciting industry disruptors and transformers will help us achieve another outstanding year as a preeminent brand agency for the modern era, with end-to-end capabilities across brand strategy, creative and media,” said Ford.
