Sure Studios today announced that it secured investment from digital marketing agency, So Shall We, as part of a growth strategy delivered by new managing director, Will Stevens, that has already seen the agency double its revenue in 2023.

So Shall We’s stake in Sure Studios will immediately lead to the creation of a new executive leadership team, which sees Sure Studios’ Will Stevens join So Shall We partners, Sam Rix and Chris Gross, to drive the growth of both businesses in Australia, and internationally.

Future and existing clients of So Shall We, including Manchester United FC, News Corp, and Storage King, along with those of Sure Studios, including Marriott, Marley Spoon, and Rebel Sport, will gain access to the combined strategic and creative capabilities of both agencies, including digital marketing, advertising strategy, and 360° video production.

Newly housed under one roof, the partnership between So Shall We and Sure Studios will deliver enhanced planning and execution capabilities for all clients by infusing performance marketing campaigns with premium video solutions, while enhancing campaign effectiveness and efficiencies crucial to delivering return on advertising spend for clients.

So Shall We Partner, Sam Rix, said of the investment in Sure Studios: “Content is the undisputed ammunition of content marketing, with high-quality video ever more important in performance marketing, which is what makes our investment in Sure Studios such a powerful play in ensuring that So Shall We’s capabilities continue to keep pace with our ambitions.

“As well as streamlining processes and driving efficiencies, bringing both agencies under one roof will become an important part of giving clients complete confidence that premium content is able to reach the widest possible audience through the power of smart performance marketing.”

Sure Studios’ managing director, Will Stevens, adds: “So Shall We are leaders when it comes to accelerating brands’ growth by getting the right eyeballs onto content, which is precisely the assurance that Sure Studios needs when it comes to putting high-quality branded content out into the world for our clients.

“So Shall We’s experience of delivering measurable results for brands across multiple categories and markets will be crucial for this next phase of Sure Studios’ growth, with Chris and Sam the perfect partners to help take us on that journey.”

So Shall We Partner, Chris Gross, added: “Sure Studios has been creating killer content for household name brands for the best part of a decade now, and with Will at the helm, it was only a matter of time before someone snapped them up; we’re just grateful it was us.

“With a background in finance, audit, accounting, and technology prior to taking over the reins at Sure Studios, Will’s approach to branded content is unlike anything we’ve seen elsewhere in the industry, infusing the art of creative video with the intricacy of accounting.”

Established in 2019, So Shall We offers a full suite of digital marketing and content services, including strategy, performance media, data science, conversion rate optimisation, and content creation.

Established in 2015, Sure Studios is a full service production studio providing ideation, digital strategy, and production for major brands, startups, and everything in between.

Will Stevens became managing director of Sure Studios in May 2023.

Chris Gross joined So Shall we as Partner in June 2023.
