Comedy knocked over cakes last night as Seven’s 1% Club claimed the title of most watched entertainment show of the evening.
The Jim Jefferies hosted quiz show was the third most watched show of the evening posting 643,000 OzTAM metro viewers.
10’s debuting Dessert Masters confirmed the cooking category still has plenty of life, it did a sweetish 477,000.
Proof it was a quietish Sunday, Joanna Lumley’s Sprice Trail Adventure on the ABC was seventh most watched show of the night with 443,000.
Nine narrowly won the night with 29.7 per cent of all of last night’s eyeballs. Seven wasn’t far away with 28.3 per cent. The ABC nabbed third and 18.5 per cent. 10 did 15.9 per cent and SBS had 7.6 per cent.
News again dominated with Seven’s 6pm bulletin (829,000) the most watched show of the night. Nine’s news had 722,000, the ABC’s 7pm bulletin had 552,000 and 60 Minutes did 511,000.
10’s The Sunday Project managed 222,000.
Other highlights for Seven included Border Security (433,000) and Homicide: Ron Iddles (278,000).
Nine’s The Bee. Gees: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart? sang its way to 390,000.
Other doers for the ABC included Annika (437,000) and Shetland (292,000).
