Soppy Office Romance Comes With Gross & Greasy Twist For Unilever’s Ponds

The office romance is typically a tactical ace for many an ad creative. But a new spot for Pond’s Men Pore Vacuum takes it far more “next level”.

The slightly disturbing spot is the work of Spanish agency David Madrid for the Unilever-owned brand.

At first, all things seem rather normal as two young office workers flirt with one another through their respective office windows.

However, things soon take a very unsuspecting and kinda gross turn.

Called “Love at First Sight” the ad will run for six months across broadcast TV and digital, starting in Indonesia, before going globally.

Check it out below:

Pond’s global brand director Pavan Bedi commented on the work: “In competitive categories like the men’s segment, a key way to break through to consumers is to take a disruptive approach. In doing this, we have become a fun, irreverent, loved brand—which is growing faster than the others.”
