Ryvalmedia Brisbane has appointed Jason Kendal as business director, as the digital-first media agency continues to expand its client base and local team following a strong period of growth.
Kendal comes to Ryvalmedia Brisbane following a short stint at BCM Group as business development manager. Prior to that Kendal was at EssenceMediacom for nearly 10 years as a client partner.
Kendal brings more than 30 years’ experience across senior roles at Ikon, EssenceMediacom and BCM, and will work closely with clients across strategy, growth and delivery. The appointment is effective immediately.
Kendal joins Ryvalmedia Brisbane during a phase of sustained new business momentum for the agency, with recent wins including SOAK Bathhouse and an expanded remit with Gardner Vaughan Group.
These wins build on success with key clients, including Mahindra Automotive Australia, which celebrated a milestone year in 2025, achieving double-digit growth and The Deaf Lottery, which achieved a record $1 million prize pool.
The appointment reflects the agency’s focus on scaling senior commercial leadership to support a complex, performance-driven client portfolio. The Brisbane team has grown to 20 people, with further expansion planned into 2026.
Mark Power managing director at Ryvalmedia Brisbane said: “Jason’s appointment strengthens our leadership as we continue to grow our client portfolio and deliver results that make a real impact. These wins reflect the confidence clients place in our team and the work we do.”
Jason Kendal added: “Ryvalmedia’s focus on performance, strategy, and client outcomes aligns perfectly with my experience. I’m excited to contribute to the agency’s next phase of growth.”
