A lunchtime beer may have put a Queenslander’s road trip under scrutiny on RBT, but it was Tipping Point Australia that came out on top with a Total TV National Reach of 1,379,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 724,000.

The margin was slim enough to make it a near photo finish, with Tipping Point Australia claiming victory over RBT. The latter’s Thursday instalment put Queenslander Walt’s lunchtime drinking under the microscope as he and wife Barbara made the long drive to Melbourne to see their grandchildren.

Seven’s The Chase Australia followed with a total reach of 1,298,000 and an average audience of 682,000.

Aussie cult classic Home And Away continued its double appearance in the rankings, with its first episode recording a total reach of 1,167,000 and an average audience of 882,000. Its second episode had a total reach of 968,000 and an average audience of 809,000.

Nine’s Paramedics also made the top 10, with a total reach of 1,094,000 and an average audience of 543,000.

Further down the list, ABC’s Grand Designs New Zealand had a total reach of 846,000 and an average audience of 409,000.

Australia’s favourite eastern suburbs-based vet, Dr Chris Brown, also featured in Seven’s Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention, which had a total reach of 836,000 and an average audience of 313,000.

Over on 10, The Celebrity Traitors UK had a total reach of 614,000 and an average audience of 275,000, following an episode that delivered on the show’s promise of backstabbing and suspicion.

Ross Kemp was murdered in plain sight after James Acaster, Maya Jama and King Kenny’s plan to trigger a yawn finally worked, while the Faithful’s suspicions led them to banish Jerry Hall at the roundtable — only for her to reveal she had been Faithful all along.

Seven’s coverage of the third T20 international between Australia and New Zealand’s women’s teams had a total reach of 569,000 and an average audience of 67,000.

Rounding out the list, Seven’s Unbelievable Moments Caught On Camera had a total reach of 438,000 and an average audience of 150,000.
