Publicis Groupe NZ has promoted Kyra Lyden to chief connections officer at Publicis Media NZ and Amy Greene to chief strategy officer at MBM NZ, with the two working closely together on strategic growth priorities for clients and the Groupe.
In her newly created role of chief connections officer, Lyden will focus on further strengthening and fostering connections and capabilities within Publicis Media NZ, bringing together the best of the agencies’ collective thinking and talent to clients.
The role is reflective of where the industry is heading, weaving together the business’ strategy, media, data, technology, and customer expertise to solve client challenges. Lyden will continue leading strategy for Spark Foundry NZ, while also overseeing select clients across Digitas NZ and MBM.
As chief strategy officer, Greene will lead the strategic direction of MBM, consolidating the agency’s full capabilities to tackle business challenges, while continuing to hone and develop the strategy and planning team.
She will also be playing a bigger role in shaping MBM’s strategic vision as part of the Senior Leadership Team and continue to raise the bar on delivering and executing exceptional work.
The promotions mark the next step in bringing strategy, connections and capabilities together.
Lee-Ann Morris, MBM CEO and Publicis Media NZ’s chief media officer, talks to how these promotions are recognising two brilliant leaders in the industry.
“Anyone who has worked with Kyra and Amy can attest to their talent. Kyra has always been incredibly passionate about strategy, collaboration and helping clients grow, so this feels like a natural next step for her. She has already had a huge impact across the business, and you cannot deny the leadership and depth of value she brings to the table every day.
“Likewise with Amy – she brings a genuine ambition for great work and a real commitment to our people and our clients. Amy has made an enormous contribution to MBM and to the way we approach strategy. She has been instrumental in the work we’ve done across clients and has consistently challenged us to stretch our thinking, raise the quality of our product and push what we believe is possible.
“We are so pleased to have both of them leading this next chapter and I cannot wait to see the impact both of them have in their new roles.”
