PETA has a new performance tip for men as part of a series of video spots, urging men to put some plants in their pants.
In the wake of peer-reviewed research, PETA has suggested that lifestyle changes, including going vegan, can significantly enhance vascular health and erectile function in men. PETA has launched a series of 30-second video spots that are, shall we say, hard to ignore.
The campaign features a duel, a swordfight and a karate battle, each ending with a climax that makes the case for plants in a way no nutrition label ever could.
PETA senior campaigns advisor, Mimi Bekhechi, said: “Research shows that while meat, eggs, and dairy are loaded with cholesterol that can clog your arteries, healthy vegan meals will keep the blood flowing to all the body’s organs.”
In the Netflix documentary The Game Changers, subjects were fed either a vegan or a meat-based meal before their erections were measured. The erections of those who ate the vegan meal were up to 13.5 per cent firmer and lasted almost five times longer. Studies also show that vegan men have much higher total sperm counts, better sperm motility and healthier sperm than non-vegans.
So while the rest of the wellness industry is selling you ice baths and testosterone supplements, PETA is out here suggesting you eat more beans.
A German poll found that 90 per cent of women named kindness as the trait they most desired in a partner. Going vegan also spares nearly 200 animals a year from miserable, short lives and death, which by most measures qualifies as relatively kind.
PETA’s message to men is simple. Want to be stronger, last longer and be considered a better person? Put down the steak. Pick up the tofu.
