The latest talent to join esports organisation, ORDER, is former Quicksilver global creative director Josh Rush, who’s been appointed chief brand officer.
A junior surf champ, Rush later transitioned to a creative design role with QuikSilver and eventually became global creative director, leading the brand’s product and marketing direction from their global headquarters in Biarritz, France.
Since returning to Australia, Rush completed an Executive MBA, while collaborating on a range of diverse projects across the youth and lifestyle markets, and co-founding his own independent surf label.
Rush has now joined the ORDER team.
Chief brand officer, Rush, said: “I’m super excited to join the crew at ORDER. Having been part of the original brand direction, this is a really unique opportunity to revisit where we’re at amongst a rapidly changing gaming and entertainment landscape, and be part of something that I truly believe in.”
ORDER, CEO, Marc Edwards, said: “The whole org is really energised around Josh’s extensive experience across pop culture and youthful brands, and the impact he will have as we evolve and breathe new creativity into everything we do,
“Our industry is as much about winning, as it is turning the serious meter down, tapping out and having fun, and Josh embodies this mantra.
“Further to Josh’s appointment, we are continuing to look for key creatives across content production and digital marketing to level up the creative output, and expand the org’s digital content and entertainment footprint.”
