Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has announced the formal launch of Hearts & Science (Hearts) into the Australian market.
Hearts will be establishing its Australian presence through fellow Omnicom agency, m2m.
It will sit alongside OMD and PHD in OMG’s stable of brands as Omnicom’s data driven marketing agency.
Initially launched in North America in April 2016, Hearts is now a global powerhouse with 24 offices around the world including New York, London, Tokyo, Toronto, Dubai and of course now Sydney and Melbourne.
While Hearts has an existing global client base in Australia, m2m brings with it an impressive client list including Hyundai, Audible, Blackmores and Hoyts, offering them the same entrepreneurial spirit, people-driven culture and focus on client service, but now with the ability to access Hearts capabilities around data driven marketing.
Jeremy Bolt has been named CEO of Hearts.
Commenting on the choice, OMG CEO of Australia and New Zealand Peter Horgan said: “Under Jeremy’s joint leadership with Des Odell, Resolution and Annalect have grown from strength to strength in the Australian market.
“With his combined expertise in analytics, data, and agency management, he is singularly capable of translating the Hearts & Science success to the Australian market”.
Wendy Gower, MD of m2m Sydney will remain in the role as MD for Hearts.
Gower has held the role of MD for the last five years in which time the agency has quadrupled in size and built a fantastic team and client base.
