Ogilvy’s Bridget Yeates has joined jnr. as client services director.
Prior to joining jnr., Yeates was agency retail lead at Ogilvy, whilst also leading the KFC Australia account for the last 4 years.
She also spent four years in London working across the likes of P&G, Coca-Cola and Pringles, leading the global rebrand, as the global business director.
John Marshall, jnr.’s managing director and founder, couldn’t be more excited on the announcement, saying “I had the privilege of working with Bridge when she first started at Ogilvy and from day one you could tell she was destined to be a future leader of our industry. As our client base started to grow across Australia and Aotearoa and we had the need to build out our Client Services Department, I knew Bridge was the right leader for the team. She is smart, savvy, has an infectious positivity and personality about her, but most importantly she gives Ryan more shit than I do, so the decision was an easy one.”
Yeates says: “I’m so excited to join jnr. and focus on strengthening client partnerships and creating work that delivers the goods. Joining was a no-brainer for me: great people, great clients and great work. It sounds simple, but when you get that combination right, there’s not much better. I’ve worked with JM, Ryan and JMak for years, so I’ve had a front-row seat to how talented they are and what they’re building. Knowing this lot, I’m sure we’ll have a fair bit of fun along the way.”
chief strategy officer and founder Ryan O’Connell adds: “Industry press releases on hires are kind of like eulogies, in that they’re unrealistically nice, to the point of being dishonest. Truth is, I don’t like Bridge. Mainly because she’s tall. Yet she’s probably the best suit I’ve ever worked with. Certainly much better than JM, but that’s a low bar. To be able to poach this level of talent might just be jnr.’s proudest moment thus far, because she’s an absolute gun, and will have a massive impact on the agency and our client partners.”
