McDonald’s is playing up its sense of fun in new work out of the UK.
The new ad, Laughter, is exactly that – 60-seconds of unbridled giggling, laughter and chuckling in and around McDonald’s restaurants.
Leo Burnett London is responsible for the ad.
Laughter is part of McDonald’s latest brand platform, ‘Fancy a McDonald’s?’, which aims to look at Maccas’ role in wider society and the brand’s relationship with customers.
“Our ‘Fancy a McDonald’s?’ platform invites the nation to let go of the daily pressures and expectations of life and savour a small but joyful moment of release. McDonald’s role in society is to enable our customers to simply enjoy, which has never been more relevant or important,” McDonald’s director of marketing and media Steven Howells told Campaign.
