Marketing Guru David Morgan Joins Shopper Media Group As Chairman

Digital Out-of-home specialist Shopper Media Group has announced the appointment of Aussie marketing veteran David Morgan as its new chairman.

Morgan joins Shopper Media Group with more than 30 years’ experience in marketing and brand development, currently consulting to some of Australia’s largest companies with MacMorgan.

He has previously worked as executive director of marketing and corporate at Nestlé, and as global chief marketing officer at Samsung, Bank West and Standard Chartered.

Shopper Media Group CEO Ben Walker said Morgan’s appointment will provide critical strategic guidance in navigating the company’s rapid growth in delivering innovative technology and outstanding value to brands and shopping centres.

“David Morgan is a talented heavy hitter, and his marketing and business acumen will ensure we continue to develop successful, innovative marketing solutions for brands and our ever-growing portfolio of shopping centres,” he said.

Commenting on his new role, Morgan said: “It’s a real privilege to be invited by Ben to work on such a high-quality business with such an impressive team, and with such a great start.

“I’m very much looking forward to helping them determine and deliver the growth potential they have.

“The future of marketing is the future of engaged personalisation. Shopper Media Group are leading their industry in transforming to the best model for marketers, client partners and their valued customers.”
