With the shortlist of the B&T Awards part one and part two announced, we wanted to gauge which agencies truly did the best of the best work this year.
Of course, everyone who made the shortlist did stand-out work in 2020 – indeed, all of entries are worthy of mention – but who topped the list? A bit of friendly competition between agencies never hurt anyone, right?
B&T’s resident boffins ran some numbers and this is what they found:
agency with the most nominations
CHE Proximity – 15 (very closely followed by The Monkeys – 14)
total number of nominations (short-listed entries)
237
total number of agencies or companies with nominations
127
number of Agencies in the independent category
28 – Great to see so many independent shops killing it in this tough year.
This was also the most entered category.
number of agencies in the emerging category
8 – While not a huge number by any means, in the context of 2020, still bloody amazing!
Agencies Shortlisted in more than one category
37
seven of the eight individuals nominated for executive leader were women!
four of the five marketing leaders nominated were also women
