Former Telstra director and Virgin Australia CMO Inese Kingsmill has announced she will be stepping in as chair of hipages Group.
Kingsmill announced the news via a LinkedIn post yesterday evening, stating her excitement at the prospect of helping develop the next phase of the hipages platform.
Kingsmill said: “I’m happy to share the news of my appointment as Chair of hipages Group. I commence my tenure at a time the company has a clear vision and strategy, an outstanding team and the culture to thrive. I’m grateful for the support of the board and look forward to continuing to work together on hipages 3.0.”
In a career spanning 25 years, Kingsmill has made a name for herself within the corporate world as both a growth- and customer-oriented leader. Having risen up through the ranks to director, partner strategy, marketing and programs at Microsoft, she later moved on to the AANA in a chairman and board member role.
She went on to spend five years with Telstra as a director of corporate marketing (later switching to consumer marketing), and has held executive roles at Virgin Australia, rhipe, Noble Oak, and most recently Bigtincan.
The news comes after the planned retirement of Chris Knoblanche, who will step down to a non-executive director role within hipages Group.
