Local Paper, Mackay and Whitsunday Life has gone viral! After a disgruntled wife took out a full-page ad to call out her cheating husband.

The Friday edition of the paper featured a full-page ad from a woman named Jenny. The advert cost between $1500 and $2000, and the paper reaches around 50,000 Queenslanders.

The ad also had a very spicy message. Jenny explained her unhappiness with her husband’s cheating and didn’t mince her words – it was a vibe.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned… Jenny bought a full-page ad space in today’s Mackay & Whitsunday Life independent paper using her (ex?) partner’s credit card. The local paper says they’ve been inundated with messages about Page 4 and do not know who Steve is @9NewsAUS pic.twitter.com/x9LmgRLozl

The ad read: “Dear Steve, I hope you’re happy with her. Now the whole town will know what a filthy cheater you are! From Jenny.

“P.S. I bought this ad using your credit card.”

The revengeful ad quickly went viral. Who doesn’t love a woman scorned with her ex’s credit card details?

Naturally, Twitter went wild.

Ohhhhhh, Steve is in the dog house! Apparently Jenny bought a full-page ad space in today's @MackayWhitLife paper using her partner's credit card. YASSS QUEEN! Go Jenny! 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/8cBIu6hYxI

The ad went so viral the paper was forced to release a statement via Facebook on the matter.

It said: “We have been inundated with dozens of messages this morning about the Advert on Page 4 of Mackay Life – As there’s too many to reply to, we would like to address it here.”

1. We do NOT know who Steve is, but apparently, he’s been very bad.

2. We won’t be revealing any details about Jenny.

3. We have not charged the credit card in question.

Hopefully, Steve has learnt his lesson, or at the very least, hopefully, Jenny is happy.
