AI advertising company GumGum has announced the appointment of Sarah Baskerville as its sales director for Victoria.
Baskerville joins GumGum from Ansible, where she spent two years as its Melbourne mobile director.
Prior to joining Ansible, she was head of specialist sales and partnerships at News Corp Australia, and also held a number of sales and account management roles at Bauer Media Australia, Pacific Magazines and Fairfax Media.
Jon Stubley, managing director of GumGum for Australia and New Zealand, said as more Australian organisations are realising the strong brand building potential of the company’s in-image advertising solutions, it made sense to build its strategic sales expertise in Victoria.
“Sarah is an experienced leader in the digital media space who will strengthen our Victorian partnerships and drive sales strategy within our growing Melbourne team,” he said.
Commenting on her appointment, Baskerville said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at a key time in establishing GumGum’s unique position in the Victorian market, and I look forward to introducing new brands to GumGum’s valuable digital marketing capabilities.
“It is an exciting field to be working in, and I can’t wait to see where our computer vision capabilities are headed next.”
