A clever new video ad by Burberry has helped kick-start the London fashion label’s Christmas campaign, with many viewers calling for the three-minute clip to be made into a feature film.
The clip, titled ‘The Tale of Thomas Burberry’, tells the story of the fashion label’s founder, and coincides with Burberry’s 160th anniversary.
Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Asif Kapadia, the ad stars Domhnall Gleeson as Burberry in the ad, with Sienna Miller playing Burberry’s love interest.

The clip has over 4.1 million views on YouTube so far, and as reported by The Independent, many people have taken to Twitter to call for Thomas’ tale to be made into a full-length movie.
