NOVA Entertainment has inked a deal with AUSIFY to become the official commercial radio partner during AusMusic Month, working alongside media agency Involved Media to showcase Australian music throughout November.
AUSIFY is a Music Australia initiative designed to encourage audiences across the country to engage with more Australian music across genres, attend more local gigs and actively support local music.
As AUSIFY’S official commercial radio partner, NOVA Entertainment will bring the movement to life throughout November, spanning audio, social, digital and Nova’s Red Room activity through to radio and podcast talent support.
Across Nova FM, selected new and emerging Australian songs will be showcased throughout November, while programming will include an all-Australian music edition of Fitzy, Wippa & Kate, Australian artist spotlights on The Joel Creasey Show and a month-long AUSIFY presence on The Maddy Rowe Show.
A selection of Nova Network and Nova Podcast creators will also curate their own Australian music playlists, available through AUSIFY’S streaming accounts, giving audiences another way to discover the local artists and tracks they love.
The partnership will extend across Nova’s digital and social channels, including spotlighting Australian artists who have performed for Nova’s Red Room, reinforcing Nova’s commitment to connecting listeners with live Australian music.
“Australian music has always been an important part of what we do at NOVA, from the artists we play to the incredible talent we’ve welcomed into Nova’s Red Room. Our partnership with AUSIFY builds on that commitment, drawing on the reach of NOVA’s shows, creators and platforms to champion local artists, drive discovery and encourage more Australians to get behind Australian music,” said NOVA Network’s group programming director, Brendan Taylor.
“Radio plays a powerful role in music discovery, particularly for local artists. Trusted curators can introduce audiences to new Australian music they might never have found otherwise and turn that discovery into a lasting connection,” said Music Australia director, Millie Millgate.
“NOVA was an obvious partner for AUSIFY, helping more Australians discover local music and encouraging them to be loud and proud in their Public Displays of AUSIFY.”
“Strategically, NOVA’s audience was the perfect fit for AUSIFY. Beyond that, NOVA has worked as a true partner from day one. The team has woven AUSIFY into its shows, talent, podcasts and social channels so it feels like part of NOVA, not a placement on it. That kind of integration is what turns a campaign into a movement, and it’s helped amplify Public Displays of AUSIFY well beyond the airwaves,” concluded Involved Media’s general manager and head of strategy, Dan Hojnik.
