Happy Hour duo Lucy Jackson and Nikki Westcott are stepping into a daily national radio slot, joining the Hit Network’s revamped Drive lineup from January 2027.

The drive home is about to get a little more unfiltered, with podcast duo Lucy Jackson and Nikki Westcott landing a permanent weekday slot on the Hit Network’s national Drive lineup from January 18, 2027.

The pair, best known for their Happy Hour with Lucy & Nikki podcast, will host the national early Drive show weekdays from 3pm to 4pm, bringing their trademark humour, candid conversations and takes on everything from pop culture to friendship and motherhood to listeners around the country.

They will hand over to newly announced Drive hosts Lu & Jarch, who will take over from 4pm to 6pm, as the Hit Network reshapes its national afternoon lineup for 2027.

The appointment marks the latest step in Lucy and Nikki’s growing radio career. The pair joined the Hit Network in 2024 with a national Saturday night show, before expanding into Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Having also regularly guest-hosted national Drive over the past year, they will now become a permanent fixture of the network’s weekday schedule.

Outside broadcasting, the best friends have built a multi-platform following through their podcast, social media and business ventures, including fashion label Jagger & Stone and wine label Jackson West. First building an audience through their social media presence as We The Wild Ones, the duo have since turned their friendship and unfiltered conversations into a broader entertainment brand.

Their Happy Hour podcast, which recently joined LiSTNR, regularly features in the Top 10 of the Triton Podcast Ranker and attracts more than 630,000 monthly listeners, with 17 million downloads to date. The pair have also sold out international live shows.

Lucy Jackson said: “We’re super excited for 2027 to be able to join the Drive lineup, along with our good mates Lu and Jarch. We feel so lucky that we get to call this work and can’t wait to sink our teeth into something new!”

Nikki Westcott added: “We love what we do and the community we’ve built, and we’re so excited about where we can take the brand from here. Expanding our radio show into a daily slot on Drive, while exploring video episodes for our podcast feels like a really natural step for us.”

Amanda Lee, Head of Hit Network Content, said the duo had demonstrated strong growth across the network, pointing to their broadcasting experience and ability to integrate brands into their content.

“Watching Lucy and Nikki evolve across the network over the past three years has been incredible. They have a strong work ethic and a dedication to their broadcasting craft, combined with a sharp commercial instinct and an impactful approach to integrating brands into their content,” Lee said.

“Investing in their growth has been a priority for us, and seeing their dedication pay off makes this announcement especially rewarding. Their energy resonates deeply with our audience and opens up powerful opportunities for our commercial partners.”

Lee said the broader 2027 lineup would pair the duo with Lu & Jarch in Drive, alongside the network’s established breakfast teams, including The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick, B105’s Stav, Abby & Matt and Mix’s Pete & Kymba.

The network is also building momentum with SAFM’s Bel & Bernie and 2DayFM’s Nath & Emma, alongside Michael Clarke on 2DayFM.

The new Drive combination is designed to give advertisers access to complementary audiences across the afternoon, with Lucy & Nikki and Lu & Jarch bringing distinct personalities and appeal to the national lineup.

Before taking up their new weekday slot, the pair will bring their Happy Hour community together in Melbourne on Saturday, December 19 for UNBOXED, their biggest live event to date.

Lucy & Nikki will broadcast weekdays from 3pm to 4pm from January 18, 2027, on the Hit Network and via the LiSTNR app.
