Fintech player Spotcap has selected The Core Agency to manage its strategy and creative duties following an international creative pitch that included agencies in Germany and Australia.
The fast-growing Sydney independent will become the lead agency for Spotcap across Australia and New Zealand, developing multi-channel brand and retail campaigns.
Headquartered in Berlin, Spotcap is a fintech lender that specialises in providing unsecured loans between $10,000 and $400,000.
Spotcap opened its Sydney office at the beginning of 2015. It also has operations in New Zealand, the UK, Spain and the Netherlands.
Lachlan Heussler, managing director of Spotcap in Australia and New Zealand, said: “We have huge plans for Spotcap and decided to use an agency that shared our ambition.
“After seeing all the creative pitches, the idea presented to us by The Core Agency stood out as the clear winner.”
Jane Callister, managing director at The Core Agency, said: “It is fantastic to be working with such an innovative business as Spotcap.
“Being an SME ourselves, we were able to plug into the mindset of their target market to create a powerful new brand idea. We are thrilled to partner with Lachlan and his team.”
This latest win comes after The Core Agency secured the Key Pharmaceuticals account in October last year.
