independent creative PR and social agency Poem kicked off its appointment to the Nestlé roster with the launch of NESCAFÉ NATIV Cascara, a new drink made from the upcycled husks of coffee beans.
Nestlé adds to the Sydney-based agency’s list of clients, which include PlayStation, Blackmores, Beats By Dre, TEDxSydney, Krispy Kreme, Sunglass Hut, Place Management NSW, and Icebreaker.
Poem recently led the brands partnership as the official coffee partner of the well-established Melbourne Fashion Festival. Working together with fashion VIPs, Poem’s new in-house studio team captured behind the scenes looks with talent Lana Wilkinson, Shayne Tino, and Rebecca and Melissa Karagiogos.
Launching Nespresso’s exclusive capsule collection with the festival, Poem worked in collaboration with MFF and Melbourne’s Longrain to serve Nespresso espresso martinis for the duration of the festival.
Encouraging Aussies nationwide to unwind with Nespresso’s “cafe quality coffee”, while tuning into the best of Australian fashion online, the recipe was shared across key media titles.
To launch NESCAFE NATIV Cascara, Poem held an intimate media and influencer lunch hosted by TV personality and presenter Tegan Martin. Attended by the likes of Erin Holland, Jade Tunchy, and Bella Varelis, the event introduced attendees to the new three new beverage flavours through an interactive cocktail making class.
Guests were also treated to a product education session around the upcycled cascara and production process, presented by a brand spokesperson whilst they enjoyed a bespoke lunch menu inspired by the flavours and botanicals in the beverages.
The 22-person agency, shortlisted for three B&T Awards in 2020, was launched in 2015 by Matt Holmes and Rob Lowe and offers a modern, creative and human approach to PR, social and content.
Poem co-founder and managing director Rob Lowe said: “Being appointed to the Nestlé roster was a great start to this year.
“Both client teams have been a joy to work with and have provided us with some great opportunities to show what we can do. It’s going to be an exciting year ahead with some great new talent in the agency, new skill sets and a positive outlook for what’s to come.”
