On Wednesday 16 October, on World Bread Day, Bread Agency gathered 60+ people, including clients, journalists, partners, and friends, to celebrate its second birthday.
The business, co-founded by Mary Proulx and Amaury Treguer, has experienced growth in the past couple of years with a roster of client partners including P&O Cruises, Zambrero, Modibodi, Peter Lehmann Wines, Connect Hearing, and a team that continues to expand.
The event was held at Arturo’s Rooftop at Wolly Bay Hotel in Woolloomooloo.
With a name like Bread, it only made sense that guests walked out with freshly baked baguettes from the bread cart at the end of the night. How many of the baguettes made it past the cab ride home, we’ll never know.
Positioned as the inaugural World Bread Day Soirée, next year’s planning is already underway.
“Marking two years of Bread feels like a pinch-me moment. We get to work with amazing client partners who trust us, an incredible team who push us, and an extended group of collaborators who support us. We’re doing work we love, and loving (almost) every moment. How good is that,” said Mary Proulx, co-founder, Bread Agency.
That’s why it was so important to take the time to celebrate with everyone who’s been part of this journey since day one. A great big Bread-y thank you for helping us get to this point. Now, bring on year three!”
“Launching a business is certainly not easy and requires a lot of hard work, but when we reflect back on the last two years of Bread and how much we’ve grown, it is absolutely unreal to see where we are now. We’re so thankful to everyone who has supported us, trusted us and worked with us. And we thought, what says thank you better than French champagne and fresh baguettes,” said Amaury Treguer, co-founder, Bread Agency.
