With one month until Christmas, Australian Radio Network’s (ARN) digital Christmas station, Elf Radio is back on air from today and broadcasting jingle bell rock and merry melodies across the festive season on iHeartRadio and DAB+ Radio.
Since launching in 2009, Elf Radio has become a favourite for ARN’s digital audiences, and this year Elf Radio won its second ACRA (Australian Commercial Radio Award) for Best Digital Radio Format – Short Term.
Elf Radio plays classic carols and Christmas tunes from a range of artists including Guy Sebastian, Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, U2, Paul Kelly and more.
Listeners can kick off the silly season today with Elf Radio now broadcasting on iHeartRadio, or on DAB+ right across Australia.
Nick Condon ARN’s digital director said: “Elf Radio has become better every year, with a wider range of Christmas classics mixed in with great covers of carols and festive tunes by some of today’s most loved artists. We are proud of our award-winning digital station and it’s just another of many innovative offerings ARN has for audiences.”
Geraint Davies COO and head of iHeartRadio Australia said: “There are over twenty Christmas stations available on iHeartRadio but for Australians ELF Radio is by far the most popular.”
Elf Radio will broadcast from today until December 26.
The iHeartRadio mobile app is available for download in the iTunes and Google Play app stores.
