From action movies to dance films – Apple’s ads often take inspiration from various cinematic styles.
And the iPhone-maker’s latest work is no different, with the new spot closely resembling an old Western in its vibe.
‘Haystack’ stars just a man and his dog somewhere in the countryside. Scored with Kitty Wells’ “Searching (for Someone Like You)”, it is hard not to relax when watching the 60-second film.

But the film takes a techy turn, when the lonely farmer checks his Apple Watch. It turns out he is using Apple’s ‘Find My’ technology to find his iPhone, which is in fact in a haystack (we’ve all heard the saying).
“Relax, it’s iPhone + Apple Watch,” says the end line.
‘Finding an iPhone in a haystack’ maybe doesn’t have the same ring as ‘needle in a haystack’, but who knows, it could take off.
It turns out ‘Relax, it’s iPhone’ is a new slogan for Apple.
The company has also released ‘In The Dark’ a far more up-tempo and scattered campaign than ‘Haystack’.
