Creator economy agency and production studio Amplify has appointed Sonja Stindl as their new Head of Talent.

This recognises the need for a dedicated resource to work with their growing roster of online content creators across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Founded by digital media veterans Tom Maynard and Alex Reid, Amplify has built a creator driven studio and agency working with globally recognised brands, from Spotify to Lego and Canva.

In May this year, Amplify released Love Songs, a world-first first narrative series produced for TikTok, with a commission from Tinder as an exclusive brand partner. Amplify also produces Gee Thanks, a Top 10 Spotify Original podcast, with YouTube sisters Georgia Productions and Lily Grace.

Stindl (pictured) said she believes the Amplify model of content production and talent management was a unique approach to the creator economy.

“Amplify is such a dynamic agency that pushes the boundaries in the way they connect talent, brands and produce content. I am so excited to join this progressive agency as the Head of Talent, I am looking forward to building out our industry leading talent division.”

This appointment comes as Amplify is expanding their roster of leading YouTube and TikTok video creators, announcing representation for Saksham Magic, Australia’s fastest growing creator on YouTube shorts, as well as Radio personality Mitchell Coombs, rising online gamer Reekid and more.

Mitchell Coombs said, “I’m so stoked to sign with Amplify exclusively. We’ve already released my first line of podcast merch which was amazing, and there’s a bunch of things in the works for TikTok, Insta and beyond.”

“The team are brilliant and I’m keen to work with them to keep growing my online madness!”
