Allison Langdon Tipped To Take Over Grimshaw’s Glorious ACA Reign

Today‘s Allison Langdon is tipped to be the front-runner to replace Tracy Grimshaw on A Current Affair – so start placing your office bets.

B&T has reached out to everyone at Nine to find out who will take Grimshaw’s crown, and we’ve come back empty-handed but not defeated!

However, TV BlackBox has reported that the loudest rumour seems to be Langdon could be taking over the throne.

However, if Langdon swings the big job, Karl Stefanovic will need a co-host, and Richard Wilkins can’t do everything on Nine! So, that leads to even more questions. Who will replace Langdon?

Currently, we don’t have a heap of answers. However, Brooke Booney could take over the chair. She’s already a hit with audiences on Today, so it isn’t a huge leap or even Carrie Bickmore could.

Still, more names are being thrown around than just Langdons. 60 Minutes Sarah Albo could snag the role, and there’s even talk Carrie Bickmore cut ties with network 10. So, she could free herself up to saunter over to Nine.

Honestly, it is still anyone’s game. But, Langdon’s move makes sense. She’s beloved on Nine, and she deserves her own vehicle. Plus, I think she could bring the right balance of hard-hitting news hound and warmth to the role.

Either way, shoddy tradies must stay on alert because A Current Affair is going nowhere.
