AIIMS Group’s state-of-the-art Creator Hub has partnered with Wests Tigers National Rugby League (NRL) stars Terrell and Taylan May to launch Mayday, a new podcast bringing raw, unfiltered conversations to audiences across Australia and beyond.
Produced entirely by the AIIMS Creator Hub, Mayday launches with a custom-built set designed exclusively for the show, full production support, and an ambitious content slate featuring prominent guests, fan interactions, and exclusive content that goes beyond what most podcasts are willing to put on record.
“Mayday is built around who the May brothers are beyond the football field. Their genuine connection to their community has created an audience that doesn’t just follow them, they trust them,” said Pedro Cuccovillo Vitola, executive director at AIIMS Creator Hub.
“These are not two blokes reading questions off a card. They are going to have conversations that Australian sports fans have never heard before, with guests that reflect the world they actually move in.
“The Creator Hub was built to give talent like this the production home they deserve. We have designed a set exclusively for this show, we have the team behind it, and we are completely invested in building Mayday into something genuinely significant. The NRL audience is one of the most passionate in the country. We cannot wait to give them this.”
Mayday joins a growing stable of sports podcasts produced by the AIIMS Creator Hub that is establishing the team as a strong force in Australia’s sports audio. Unscripted with Josh Mansour, produced by the Creator Hub and hosted by former elite NRL player and media personality Josh Mansour, has recorded 600,000 downloads and over 3 million YouTube views since launching in May 2025, with more than 10 million Instagram views and 6.1 million TikTok views across its social footprint.
The show carries a five-star Spotify rating and a 65 to 70 per cent listener retention rate.
“We’re NRL players but we’ve got a lot more to say than what happens on the field. Mayday is our chance to have real conversations with real people, no agendas or PR spin. I can’t wait for people to see what we bring,” said Terrell May, Wests Tigers prop.
“We’ve wanted to do this properly for a long time. Having the Creator Hub build something specifically for us, with a team that genuinely gets what we’re trying to do, means we can go places most podcasts won’t. That’s the whole point.”
The team at Creator Hub recently produced and directed At Home With Kyle, an exclusive documentary series following Kyle Sandilands’ journey from his high-profile departure from Australian radio to the launch of his own streaming platform.
