Shepherd takes OMG head of Accuen post

The Omnicom Media Group has hired Paul Shepherd to the role of head of Accuen, OMG’s programmatic advertising division.

Shepherd (pictured) joins from PubMatic where he was managing director for APAC and India, where he was responsible for the launch and introduction of the PubMatic brand across the region.

The move comes following the announcement that Ben Grace, former director of Accuen in Australia, has transferred to a role within the wider Accuen network in the US.

Previously, Shepherd held various senior management roles across key media and technology corporations such as Telstra/Sensis, Mediasmart, and Adconian.

Commenting on his new position, Shepherd said: “I am extremely excited to be working with a respected marketing powerhouse like OMG. This gives me an amazing opportunity to be able to work on the strategy of some of the largest brands in the Australian market.”

Leigh Terry, CEO OMG ANZ, added: “Paul has the perfect blend of client service, commercial and technical expertise to continue driving this specialised optimisation proposition. He is held in the highest regard in the industry and we are really pleased to have him on board.”
