Exhausted by all this talk of Brexit? Well, a caller to BBC 5’s radio program took it to a whole other level, falling asleep on-air and snoring his way through an interview.
The caller, a Joey from Bournemouth on England’s south coast, had waited on line for 35 minutes to talk to radio hosts Stephen Nolan told Dotun Adebayo about the UK’s pending separation from the European Union.
However, when it came for Joey to share his views, both announcers were met with nothing but loud snoring emanating down the phone line.
“This has been the best Nolan 5 Live show in years,” Nolan chuckled in response.
Sadly, we never got to learn if Joey was “leave” or “remain”, however a BBC spokesperson said the broadcaster had checked on his welfare and he was “fine and saw the funny side.”
